The Above the Influence poster contest gives middle schoolers the opportunity to create a social media message by refusing the influence of alcohol or harmful substances. The 2024 theme was created by the Coalition’s Senior Interns – “Be Smart, Don’t Start”. Above the Influence informs and inspires teens to reject illicit drugs via TV, print, internet, and local radio advertising – and, most importantly, in partnership with community organizations, which is why the Fountain Hills Protect Our Youth Coalition has sponsored this contest for the last 10 years.
